What a fun spring day! The girls loved visiting the zoo and seeing all the animals especially the baby elephant! They both love the book, "Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What do you hear?" And today really brought that book to life for them! They love making animal noises and pretending to be elephants and tigers. This was our first trip to the zoo with Jessa and the first time this year with Hollyn. Andrew liked seeing the bearded lizards and petting them and also petting the sharks too. Hollyn was very brave and even fed a giraffe! Jessa was excited to see the animals...at least from a distance. She was scared of getting too close to them though, and so she liked watching them feed the penguins the best because they were safely behind the glass wall. They both liked the monkeys though! We enjoyed a picnic lunch and Andrew had fun playing on the playground with his sisters. Hollyn again was very brave and decided to go down the "big" slide all by herself! She is getting so big and is becoming very independent. Fun family outing!
