Happy Easter everyone! We enjoyed the day with our family and the kids woke up to a super great surprise! Easter baskets complete with an egg hunt inside! G.G. got the girls stuffed bunnies and we got them Elmo & Cookie books, some Little People Girls inside an egg, and some fun bracelets. Andrew received a DS Lite game that he has wanted for a long, long time. :) The girls had so much fun finding the eggs and even found some that we had hidden for AJ. Jessa Li was a little more interested in what she found inside her eggs than actually hunting for more - M&M's are the girls favorite candy! Hollyn scooped up the eggs downstairs and upstairs and helped Andrew find some of his. After the egg hunt, Andrew shared the Easter story with the girls as we enjoyed are special breakfast together. He did such an excellent job opening up each of the eggs and showing them what was inside and describing what it symbolized from the death to the resurrection of Jesus. We are so thankful for the glorious celebration this day represents! He has risen! He has risen indeed!
