FALLING INTO FALL

After visiting Mark at college, we drove to Uncle Bruce & Aunt Carol's home to spend a few days with them. We had fun just hanging out and the kids LOVED playing with Luke! Unfortunately, Carol got sick after church on Sunday so we didn't get to visit too much, but we had fun going over to Taylors Falls and checking out the St. Croix river. BEAUTIFUL scenery! Wish it had not been a rainy, misty day, but even the mist that covered over the trees was breath-taking. The colors of fall are always so amazing to me and we had fun checking out the state signs with the kids too. The girls both gained two states: Minnesota and Wisconsin. Aunt Carol lives right on the border of both!

Getting ready to enjoy some ice-cream with cousin Luke!

The girls had fun playing with Mark & Luke's bean bags. Jessa is really into making "silly faces" now for the camera. Funny girl!

They both also did really well sleeping in their sleeping bags next to each other. Only a couple of cries in the night, but nothing too bad. Plus, they look so cute snuggled next to each other.
