It was a gorgeous fall day so the girls and I decided to take a walk down to our neighborhood park and play on the playground. It has been raining for over a week, so it was great to finally see and feel the warmth of the fall sunshine! I love the brilliant blue sky against the orange and red of the fall leaves. This year the pear tree in our front yard actually turned autumn colors and the leaves fell. We haven't had to rake them until the spring because they would just hold on all through the winter and just don't fall off until they are brown and withered in the spring. So it was been extra special to see the tree this autumn as the leaves turned wonderful colors and fall to the ground, and AJ and I actually raked two bags full. It was fun to play in them!
At the park there are hills and the girls love running up and over the tops of them, it always reminds me of the first scene in the movie The Sound of Music. Watching them run with wild abandonment over the hills laughing and squealing with delight!
Our little tree-hugger! ha!
She liked the way the leaves "crunchy" under her feet.
Soaking up the sun! It was actually so nice for them to get outside!
When we came back home, the girls decided it was time to dance! So they quickly found their ballerina tutus and appropriate crowns and matching wands! too funny!
