and let my husband on!

And the world, as we knew it, would never be the same! 

God blessed all of us when he created David! He is a wonderful son, brother, uncle, husband, father, coach, teacher, and friend! It was so exciting to be able to celebrate his 50th birthday with so many special people who love us dearly and have made our lives more full because of their encouragement and friendship! We are blessed! We celebrated David's birthday gift back in June by going to a Cubs game at Wrigley Field, but I decided (last minute) to throw a small party for him inviting our family and his close teacher buddies from school. It was fun having the kids help me choose the cake & decorations and we decided to continue with the baseball theme. We made a lot of Daddy's favorite dishes to snack on, and just had fun hanging out with friends! I'm just so thankful that everyone wasn't too busy the weekend before school started and could join us. Dave's birthday this year fell on the first day of school. Bummer :(  So we celebrated Sunday afternoon. :) The photos my friend Carrie captured tell the rest of the story.

God has blessed me with an amazing husband

who is loving, kind, intelligent, hard-working,

funny, joyful, and content!

His life has made a difference in the hearts of so many students!

We are blessed with devoted and loyal friends!

He is a compassionate & silly uncle!

He is a wonderful father who enjoys spending time with his children!

He is GREATLY LOVED!
